How a dock gets built

Most people have never done this before. Here is the whole thing, start to finish.

We come look
We measure your shoreline, water depth and setbacks, and talk through what will actually work in your cove.

Design and bid
You get a drawing and a fixed materials-and-labor bid: roof style, decking, frame finish, colors.

We file the permit
We prepare and submit your Entergy shoreline application and track it through approval.

Build and hand off
Our crew builds and sets the dock, walks you through operating the lift and is available for future service/repair.

Founded in 1962, Williamson Boat Docks has built a large share of the docks you pass on Lake Hamilton and Lake Catherine. Our crews are our own and our steel is welded in our yard on Amity Road. We design ahead of what the lake asks for today, build it to outlast the boat sitting under it, and price it so that lasting is the cheaper decision.
